I agree with you, the instinct is strong.

Finding the better tribes as you say is certainly hard. I, too, appreciate the familiarity of finding like-minded people. People who love the outdoors, or writing, or thinking about big ideas — I’d love to be in those tribes. I think the challenge for me is realizing how interconnected all of these things are. Instead of building walls, I wish we were building more bridges.
