Absolutely! I think this kind of justification is rather pervasive. I know I remember believing it, even using attraction as a means of power in my younger years. Now I think the narrative itself is so damaging.

When I read things by famous authors or influencers who make it seem like it’s a woman’s job to be available — lest men get too bothered by the lack of sex, I honestly want to throw a book at them. Their own books, if they happen to be around and heavy enough.
